Mark, Nice to see you personally reply! Now that you guys have a solid 1.0 for Unity under your belt I think this would be very helpful for normal day to day work flow.
I found for me Unity became a whole lot more usable once I shrank the size and anchored it in place. Now that computers have a wide display I don't think we need to have it always hidden. I found 90% of my time was spent unhiding the menu. Now Unity works very well but the the "peek" type functionality would be nice when you only need to bring one window of an application to the foreground.
