I am using a Lenovo ideapad s10 with Ubuntu 10.04 (netbook edition), kernel 2.6.32-31-generic.
I have recently been unable to wake my computer from suspend to ram; suspend to disk (hibernate) seems to work fine. When I try to wake from suspend to ram the following happen: Fan turns on Power light and wireless led come on (latter only if the computer was suspended with wireless on) Screen backlight comes on Nothing appears on screen No key presses (including ctrl+alt+del) produce any result Computer can only be shut down by holding power button for four seconds When I turn the computer back on after this occurs, networking (wireless and ethernet) have been disabled and I have to right click the networking icon and enable it to get networking to work again. So far, for me, I can't wake from suspend every single time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771944 Title: suspend: cannot awaken -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
