Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: samba4
I simply tried to upgrade to the new Ubuntu 11.04 the day after it was
released. Now, the machine gets stuck during rebooting. It seems Samba
is the problem. I attempted to remove Samba using apt-get without any
luck - the machine still gets stuck during reboots. I don't know, maybe
it's VMWare causing problems - it also seems to fail to load device
drivers during the boot process. I guess I'll apt-get remove VMWare
next.
Note, I'm using a 64GB ADATA SSD (model S599) hard-drive as my primary
boot drive. I then have a 1TB normal hard-drive as a secondary hard-
drive.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks,
Jim
