Public bug reported:
Ubuntu completely locks-up whenever wireless (wpa2 protected) connection
is being made. Initially, wireless (ath9k driver) was dead-slow. Using
the workaround from #754176
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/754176/comments/11)
fixed this.
However, now the computer crashes when connecting. This bug may be a
duplicate of #735431, however I'm still experiencing this behavior on a
fully updated installation, while this bug has indication Fix Released.
The proprietary Nvidia driver is loaded, found some indications
somewhere on the net this may be related, I believe in ubuntu forums,
though I cannot find the reference any more.
