I am having the same issue. I installed Natty on an eMachine E727 with
the Intel Mobile Series 4 and GMA 4500M video. I installed it along
side Win 7 and able to get grub. However if I don't edit the grub boot
line I get the black screen. If I edit grub to read nomodeset I can get
to the classic desktop. However I can't get Unity to work. So
essentially Natty is functioning the same as Maverick for me. Would be
nice to get this fixed to really see the features in Natty working.
