Binary package hint: pidgin
Sometimes (typically when minimizing a chat window), Pidgen freezes my
entire system - won't respond to anything, even power button. Leaving
it for a few minutes doesn't make a difference. The only way to restart
is to remove the laptop battery. Freezes happen every 2-4 days, so
they're hard to reproduce on demand.
Running Natty on an HP TX2 with ATI graphics. Using the Ubuntu Classic
Desktop (no effects) option from GDM. 3D programs like Flightgear run
with no problem.
