the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we

Screen tearing in flash and any video, except true full screen. Nvidia
drivers current, with vsync. Compiz is the only way to fix screen
tearing for the desktop, but tearing occurs when heavy cpu usage and
at the top of the screen.
