Same problem for me with Feisty (final) 32 bits : my USB external harddisk,
when removed using the "eject" command from the context menu, is immediately
mounted again and I have to turn it off to remove it.
All worked well with Dapper and Edgy (I haven't tested Feisty alphas or betas).
