Same here with 11.04 64 bit. I found that if I, instantly (!) after the auto-login, start any application that requires access to the keyring (e. g. a VPN connexion with NM), it asks me for the keyring password only once (i. e. correctly). Therefore, the buggy behaviour could be caused by some two/three/n applications requesting access simultaneously, which produces multiple prompts.
