Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
I purchased a new computer that had Ubuntu 10.10. I burned the .iso image to a CD for the "standard desktop" called "Natty -alternate-i386.iso". All was going well until the end when the installer crashed and gave me the info above. I am sorry I do not know how to access those files so you may assist me. The message says to "file a new bug report". I looked through every file on the disk and could not located /var/log/syslog or /var/log/partman. I am sorry to be a problem. I would appreciate guidance. Thank you.
