Setting the user rights for wireless did not work for me either. I got my HP2133 to work by upgrading the Kernel to 2.6.39.0 and also installed Unity 2-D. I started off running Macbuntu on gnome but for some reason this Kernel set the panel to the legacy Ubuntu 7 style so I went Unity instead
Upgrading the Kernel to 2.6.39.0 is described at: http://ubuntuguide.net/ubuntu-11-04-upgrade-linux-kernel-to-2-6-39-0 I figure to go up Kernel versions rather than down as there are probably overall additional improvements that make a better experience. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/772923 Title: BCM4312 on HP Mini 2133 freezes with Natty -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
