It happends to me too. in addition, I can not listen TVTime anymore, but
Alsa Mixer seems to work perfectly. 6 channels (5.1) in other
applications, noise when activating Line-in input...

The first three lines in spanish means "executing and reading".
This never happened to me in edgy, but when I upgraded to Feisty, my fglrx and
Beryl crashed. I know Beryl is not supported, but wirte it to provide any
usefull information.
