Additional info which I hope is of some help... OK it looks like I can force the error by simply kicking of the torrent download
Before and while I was submitting the above report Firefox was working normally for an hour or so. I restarted the torrent downloads (using Transmission) and again after a few minutes of normal download the Wifi connection dropped and would not recover either automatically or by trying to manually disconnect and reconnect to the network using right click on the wifi icon at top right of screen. I rebooted the machine but it would not connect to Internet I rebooted a second time and it would still not connect to internet Finally I rebooted the router and the Wifi connection automatically recovered. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/783474 Title: wifi disconnects - will not reconnect without reboot -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
