Binary package hint: compiz
Previously when creating 4 terminal windows cascade would place them in
in a tiled (2x2) square centered on the screen.
Now it creates the first window at (1,1) of the tile, but the next
window is placed at (0,0) desktop position. Subsequent windows are then
truly cascaded past the title bar of the previous window.
