ok i ended up reinstalling ubuntu because i always prefer to install from scratch vs an upgrade. also i severely messed up grub and had issues getting it to add windows to the grub. anyhow. all is fixed now. but this is still partially an issue. there are no triggers except if you use your bluetooth device while logging in (move the mouse in my case) it will connect/stay connected w no problems, if i move it b4 login and wait, its still shotty.
