Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
Please try the following steps to start a fresh test:
1- Go to Places (on the top panel / menu bar) -> Home Folder
2- When a file browser opens, select "View -> Show hidden files".
3- A bunch of hidden directories will appear. Please open the .cache directory.
4- From that directory, please drag the "checkbox" subdirectory to the trash,
or right-click it and select "Move to trash".
Once you've done this, the previous run you refer to will be removed and
you can start a new round of testing.
Please let me know if this solves your problem.
