Same thing is happening with me. I have a ASUS G73SW, with an internal Realtek
card reader. I have tried Ubuntu 10.10 32bit, 10.10 64 bit, 11.04 32 bit, 11.04
64 bit, and last I went back to the LTS version, and nothing make it work. If I
boot from Windows, it works perfectly. I tried to install the linux driver
given by the manufacturer, but also not luck.
Let me know when you guys find a cure for this problem. I have researched
INTERNET and it seems that Ubuntu is not really friendly with SD card readers.
