Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gconf
Got this error after booting into my fresh install of 11.04 using the alternate
installer with expert settings and manual package configuration settings.
(Didn't change anything from the defaults there though)
There was a message about there being too many errors to continue, but when I
went back to the table-of-contents and did the same (install software) step
again it didn't give any problems so I continued the installation.
Then when I finally booted into the system I got popups for 3 or 4 system
errors, of which this was one.
