Same problem with my system when trying to upgrade Ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10. In my case, 'aptitude why blcr-dkms' returned that there was not reason to have blcr-dkms. To be sure, I ran 'sudo apt-get purge blcr- dkms' before attempting the upgrade without luck. Using the workaround suggested by Charles Opondo got me past that roadblock, however.
