Hello marcus can you follow these steps: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingCasper or if not try rewiting the usb key, boot in the not working system, then boot a live session in a working system and attach here, using the button below 'Add attachment or patch' the file: /var/log/syslog /var/log/kern.log and if present /var/log/syslog.1
