Whenever wifi is active and the wifi switch is turned off on the Dell
Vostro 3300 the system immediately hangs. This is with 2.6.38-8-generic.
I tried booting with the older 2.6.35-28-generic and the problem went
away. The kill switch used to work fine in Maverick.
