Public bug reported:

WLAN adapter "Netgear WG121" support broken since Kernel version
2.6.38-6. The WLAN adapter is based on chip set Prism GT and has worked
without any problems till Kernel version 2.6.38-6.

I'm using the 64 Bit version of Ubuntu.

With the update from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04 the WLAN network adapter function
was broken. It was not possible to solve the issue with the help from the
community.
Going back from Kerne 2.6.39-x to 2.6.38-6 (natty) solved the issue. I have
only installed this older Kernel version and left all other packages on current
available version.

Unfortunately I can not provide any more details to describe the
malfunction. But something in the WLAN support was changed going from
2.6.38-6 to newer kernels.

Regards Artur
