Binary package hint: grub2
on EFI systems grub2 can not detect the holding of the shift key yet and
so it's impossible to get the boot menu unless one manually sets
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET=false and comment GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT out in
/etc/default/grub
