us make Ubuntu better.
I can't determine from DpkgTerminalLog.txt what broke during your
installation, here is the relevant failure:
Setting up mysql-server-5.1 (5.1.54-1ubuntu4) ...
start: Job failed to start
invoke-rc.d: initscript mysql, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing mysql-server-5.1 (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Can you possibly look in /var/log/syslog , or /var/log/mysql/error.log
for clues as to why mysql couldn't start up?
