Public bug reported:

I have a MSI FX700 running Ubuntu 11.04.
It has four (!) built in loudspeakers, of which only two are switched off when
plugging in the headphones.
If anyone has a similar device: The top ones keep going while the bottom ones
are switched off.

I am nearly sure this is because of some strange hardware arrangement
but I was wondering if there was a workaround or a real fix, as many new
notebooks come with more complicated or numerous internal loudspeakers.

PS: I didn't know which soundhandling-package contacts the hardware so i
left it open.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
