Same for me, using XFCE (xubuntu-desktop). The default Ubuntu OpenOffice package uses the -style-human icon package, which installs a "something_images.zip" file. Under non-Gnome desktops, OpenOffice appearantly only looks for "images.zip" under /usr/lib/openoffice/share/config/.
With openoffice.org-style-andromeda it works. Maybe all the icon packages should create fallback symlinks to images.zip, using the Debian alternatives system? The human icons looks way cuter, and having the -andromeda icon package installed always as fallback wouldn't be sensible then. But, btw, why does OpenOffice find it under Gnome, but not elsewhise? Is there some secret filesystem wrapper running, or has this behaviour anything to do with gconf? Are other configuration options or capabilites affected by lack of a Gnome environment? -- openoffice.org: toolbar icons don't show under IceWM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/88249 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
