Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
The error from the logs normally indicates a transient situation; under
normal circumstances performing the upgrade again would resolve the
issue. However as this happened during a release upgrade, its possible
that this issue has already resolved itself.
Please try running the following command:
sudo apt-get -f install
This should complete and failed configuration steps that happened during
the upgrade; if this resolves your issue please update this bug report.
