I just installed GThumb from the software center in Natty. Since I didn't have a working GThumb that served my purposes, I have been using a windows program called Faststone Image Viewer in Wine relatively successfully (there are a few quirks). It is very important to me to be able to sort the particular order of pictures, and then to rename them in the new order. When I click on View, then Sort By with the present GThumb in Natty, there is not any selection any longer for a manual sort.
