Changing to the desktop where the application resides only works when
the application was created in the current desktop and shifted to the
other desktop. If it was created in another desktop, desktop change on
click at the dash symbol has no effect. I tested this with gnome-
terminal and geany.
I interpreted a statement of Mark Shuttleworth that in any case clicking
on the dash icon should make the application visible.
