Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: lirc

I'm trying to use the Ir remote control from my Pinnacle PCTV,

In dpkg-reconfigure, I've selected /dev/input/by-path/pci-0000:00:1d.7
-event-ir as device

Lirc is starting without failure, but it seems that lirc is receiving no
signal from the device...

When trying to use irrecord, I get :
Hold down an arbitrary button.
irrecord: gap not found, can't continue
irrecord: closing '/dev/input/by-path/pci-0000:00:1d.1-usb-0:1:1.2-event'
