Upstream bug closed with the comment below
"This sounds like a gphoto problem. Jim asked for more information from the
original reporter months ago, and never heard back. We can't try to reproduce
with his Optio camera since we don't have one at Yorba. The second user who
reported this is no longer seeing the problem."
