Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: emacs23

Image shows that if I launch emacs on the top screen of an extended desktop, it
arrives normally.
If I launch it on the bottom screen, it flashes up full size and then
immediately shrinks to unusably small state. It won't allow me to resize it
except by flipping to full-screen on the upper desktop.

The lower is my laptop (Lenovo T410s) and the upper is an external LCD.
