Also, I guess you have the 'save history' option set to 'off'. In this case, the menu won't update properly, since I had to implement an ugly workaround in the save history function to update the menu, since the appindicator doesn't support getting the visible status of the menu. You would have to have history saving activated for the menu to refresh properly.
