Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: libreoffice
This has been happening periodically in 11.04 Natty since install (more
or less when it was released). I am finding periodically that
Libreoffice crashes on me. There doesn't seem to be any particular
reason why it crashes, though I always seem to be attempting to do
something (in this case it was selecting Tools>BibliographyDatabase in
writer. This has happened twice now) Crashes happen with multiple
documents opened, or just one, both with Calc and Writer. I don't
regularly use other parts of OpenOffice, so I'm not sure if they also
would crash.
I'm essay writing at the moment, so am likely to see these crashes a lot
over the next few days. Am happy to troubleshoot any ideas, as well as
helping implement any workaround. So far I can't think of any. Selecting
the Tools>BibliographyDatabase item from the menu seems to crash the
program every time.
I am working an an eeepc 901 netbook with 1Gb of Ram. Attached is the
log report from /var/crash. Cheers.
