** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: nautilus

After fresh install of Natty under Unity GDM, desktop icons disappeared.
- Sometimes I can randomly be able to restoring them by resetting and setting
again the gconf key "apps/nautilus/preferences/show desktop", but they
disappear again on next boot.
+ The workaround is:
+
+ - Open Nautilus
+ - Reset to false and set back to on the gconf key
"apps/nautilus/preferences/show desktop".
+
+ Anyway icons disappear again on next boot.

I suspect also some conflict with ubuntu-tweak.
