Hello, I've made a fresh install of ubuntu and update procedure worked just fine. I believe the update it couldn't be made because of the unofficial Canonical sources I've used.
Although while trying to install the fresh ubuntu distro 11.04 from a CD, the graphical installation interface crashed and the only way I could install was by text installation.
