I connect through Wireless LAN. After the crash everything seems ok. The
computer has 1.5 GB RAM and about 900MB swap (which is rarely used
indeed). It has not lost any connectivity - as can be noticed.
I remember that among the so-called obsolete packages were (* correspond to
forgotten chars, (?) means that I am not 100% sure of the name):
