It was the solution for my aspire one d260 with Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.10. Later, I did upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04 and SD card works fine. But I'm not sure that this last version use driver form solution #149. I think that people of Ubuntu Fixes that problem in the 11.04 version. It is Your machine in the list of computer affected?
