Hi Andrzej. Can you upgrade to VirtualBox 4.0.8 (r71778) or higher and see if this still happens?
The same problem was reported with 11.04 as the guest (LP #786839) and I was unable to reproduce it with VirtualBox 4.0.8 r71778.
