After looking for some alternatives, one that came into the picture is
by increasing the core voltage to 1.35 and removing the mpurate
restriction, but after some testing it seems that the kernel is not
reliable.

Seems proper smart reflex implementation would be the way to go here if
we want 1GB, that out of a SRU scope.
