This is exactly what is displayed in terminal after banshee --debug. The part starting: "An unhandled exception was thrown: Could not read add-in description" pop-ups in gui window. Previous version of Banshee and extensions 1.8... was running without any problem on my system. The problem started after update to Banshee 2.0.1 from this repository:
