Thanks for the bug report and sorry for inconvenience. The version of
Unity that you are using is not being actively developed anymore as in
Ubuntu 11.04 we moved to a better back-end and Unity was re-written. You
are welcome to try Ubuntu 11.04 and report any issues you may find. This
particular bug wontfix for Ubuntu 10.10
