I had the same problem today. Thanks to your bug report I thought of
installing the package libreoffice and it fixed the problem.
As far as I know on a default install of ubuntu natty not all of
LibreOffice is installed (due to a lack of space on the install CD). But
this should not cause such a crash of the program.
