Hi, this is upstream again :) I have uploaded a new release yesterday., see http://lpg.ticalc.org/prj_tilp/news.html . More bugfixes, an improved UI, and a new experimental libusb 1.0 backend (though the libusb 0.1 backend remains considered as the reference backend, at least for this release).
For now, the libusb 1.0 backend hardly matters to Debian derivative distros, since they keep packaging libusb 0.1 proper; most other distros, unfortunately, have stopped doing so, and provide the libusb 1.0 compat package for 0.1, which _cannot_ work with the libusb 0.1 backend of libticables. Indeed, in order to provide the required asynchronous functionality to e.g. TIEmu, the libusb 0.1 backend of libticables has to use the internal asynchronous API of libusb 0.1 (Windows) or ioctls (Linux). The better libusb 1.0 API solves these woes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544702 Title: Dependencies are not resolvable -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
