Public bug reported:
Hi
I see that I'm not the first one to have problems finding the "Device
Drivers page" among the help- pages for Wireless network problems.
(#782319 endless loop in desktop help)
My problem is that after upgrading from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04, I no
longer can connect to my wireless network. It all seems to be the same
way as before, but the wireless router don't recognize my hex- key
anymore... What has changed?
Hope someone can help me
Best regards
Petter
1) The release is Ubuntu 11.04, release 11.04
2) 'apt-cache policy pkgname' say "N: Unable to locate package name pkgname"
3) I expected my wireless network to work fine after upgrading, but I have
checked all the information in connection information, and it is exactly the
same as I used in the previous version...
4) Instead of connecting, I just get "Wireless Network Authentication
Required"- box, probably asking me for the authentication or encryption keys,
but when I put it in it still don't work. This is a WEP 40/128-bit Key, ASCII
