I am reluctant to run the 11.04 install having got 10.04 working again. It would be ok if the installer still offered the option to install 11.04 alongside, but now it only offers to replace 10.04. and it took me two days to get it back.
I have tried checking the disk, the results are attached. The reason I had so many partitions is because I was using the "install alongside" option and with each attempt a new set of partitions were created. It is tidier now, but where the 6.1 GB free space (visible with Disk Utility)came from, I have no idea. ** Attachment added: "Check Report.odt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/789232/+attachment/2147635/+files/Check%20Report.odt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/789232 Title: installation crashed during repartitioning phase -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
