I have AMD Sempron K8 (64bit), ATI RV350 AR [Radeon 9600]. With Ubuntu 11.04 x64, Torcs is frozen immediately after launch with no visible error or warning, after the output text "Compatibility mode, properties unknown."
After this, system monitor stops, VGA switches off, monitor goes standby.
