Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

This bug concerns Ubuntu 11.04 64 bits with
Unity 3.8.12-0ubuntu1 .
The file management system has been changed to Nautilus 2.32.2.1. If I
right-click on a file name, choose "rename", type some Latin characters then
press on the right win key, which I've configured to be the keyboard layout
switcher, in order to add characters in Mongolian Cyrillic, then my changes are
dropped, so that it's very difficult to mix Latin and Cyrillic characters in a
file name. This is very necessary, for instance to name a file in Cyrillic with
a valid extension (in Latin characters), such as "Отгонцэцэг.txt". This bug
doesn't concern Ubuntu 11.04 classic 64 bits.
I would expect that, as in Ubuntu classic, when one switchs layout while
renaming a file in Nautilus, he be able to go on typing the file name.
