Thanks for all your efforts. Since the driver for this hardware is a
very fast moving target could you all please retest. This hardware (in
both its incarnations) is now (kernel 2.6.38) _supposed_ to work with
the rt2800usb module.
If you are not using kernel 2.6.38 (ubuntu 11.04) you should be able to get the
same driver from the backports package, which might be named something like:
linux-backports-modules-compat-wireless-2.6.38
Please upgrade your modules, test and report your results in a separate bug
report reported with (terminal window command):
ubuntu-bug linux
If you have done so make a comment here with the new bug number.
