Sorry, I won't be able to assist you with those files...I have already gone back to my favorite Linux, elive... I keep trying Kubuntu and it has always seemed to work well 'live' but not installed, at least with my Averatec 3270. But it has failed with many Linux's; Suse, Ubuntu, Kubuntu and others because of hardware which appears not to be Linux friendly (nor is the company and its support staff.) You have the audio which other Linux's struggle with, however. Via 82XX Elive at least had the wireless working 'out of the box;' Ralink 2400.
Meanwhile I am shopping for another laptop which is more Linux friendly... I'll try Kubuntu on that, I will promise! It does appear to work just fine on the desktops I have tried, and I have eight copes of ten left from Canonical to hand-out, because yours is more 'Windows-like' than elive, anyway.
